My Review

Sooo, I did it again. I read the last book of a series without reading any of the other books. Oh well, it was fantastic!!! I LOVED it, and I rooted and cheered like a crazy person the whole time. I also wasn't too worried because I felt like I had everything I needed, so I will now go backwards and read the first books LOL but you could read this one as a stand alone. 

So, 25 years ago, there was "the Flash", which cause the entire world to basically crash. Goodness it's a scary thought. And the big bad guy, who is a human, who just wants to use the supernaturals and then exterminated them. But this main story is about Lumina, aka Hope, who has lived her lives with humans, but she's not one. She has had a pretty rough life. But she's become a wonderful woman. All because Sebastien Thorn is an evil bastard :) Anyways. when she gets caught, she somehow gets away, but not without loss and not without having a mind blowing revelation that the world world isn't like it is in her home land. She's learning exactly who she is, and while she used to hide, she won't any longer. And then she finds out she has family and they are alive. She will stop at nothing to help them. AND then there's Magnus. :) 

Magnus is the Seeker, and he's kinda mean, definitely broody, and sexy as hell, even with the scars. Lumina has had dreams of him her whole life, so when he finds her, she's dumb founded. Because he's real. He takes her to a place where everyone is like her. Except she wants his love. and he's not ready to give it. But, Magnus will help Lumina get the rest of her family back together, even if it kills him. 

Wow, the plot is just fantastic. I am completely amazed. It's so descriptive and imaginative and creative. And down right skin crawling at times. I cried. I laughed. I cheered. The writing is flawless. And it's heartbreaking but so inspiring. I am going to skip some of my normal parts of a my review, because I am not too sure what would spoil it for someone who has read the first books. But Hope, and Morgan, and MacGregor are some of my favorite characters. Lumina is my hero. Magnus is my new book boyfriend :) It's an amazing adventure that is so worth the read. I do wish I would have read the first books, but now, I'll catch up and re-read and it'll be even more amazing!!! 5 MAGNIFICENT PAWS!!!
